Navigate to dropdown list shows all the frames regardless of whether they’re in sections or not. It would be great if anyone has a workaround.
Else I request Figma to refine this list and possibly add a search option which will be useful when working with large files.

At this moment it is not possible to filter out the frames from sections. Let me merge your post with a similar one.
