hey guys, so i made a prototype on figma make, i wanted to share it with a focus group when i finished it, so i clicked “share” and copied the link but first i tested the link in the chrome browser free of other cache and it didnt load well it did for a split second and loaded up nothing after that like it was blank with only the figma top toolbar avaialable… so i tried publishing it and doing the same thing and the same problem happened, now the easier solution is to just share the link diectly but it will show the ai prompts which i dont want , i know there was a way to turn it off and thats if you publish which i have done but the file is not loading when i go to view it. and accessability is definitely set to public.

Hi @jackstinson ,

I understand you’re having some issues publishing your Figma Make file to the public web.

I checked the link you shared, which currently shows as Not found, and looking into our backend system, it appears that you’re on the Starter plan.

We offer a free version of Make so you can explore what’s possible, experiment with ideas, and see how the tool fits into your creative workflow.

However, there are some limitations with the Starter plan. One of those limitations is that Starter plans can only publish to the public web if the file is also published to the Figma Community.

You can find more details here: Who has access to Figma Make?

If you don’t mind publishing to the Figma Community in addition to your focus group, please try publishing with the following settings:

  • Turning on the “Feature on Community” toggle
  • Uncheck “show chat history” if you prefer not showing the chat history

If you’d prefer to share only with your focus group, then while it may not be the ideal method, you can try using Share a fullscreen preview as an alternative solution: Preview a functional prototype or web app

After reviewing these limitations and sharing options, if you’re still running into issues with publishing or sharing, I recommend reaching out directly to our team through this secure form:Submit a Request
In the form, please share the URL of the file and grant edit access to support-share@figma.com. (Please rest assured that granting this access will not impact your billing.)

Thanks,
