If the gallery was part of a class workspace, make sure you’re signed into the same Figma account you used for the assignment. Sometimes projects are hidden simply because you’re in the wrong team or account.

I just wanted to close the loop here. If you’re running into a similar issue, ​@Wirkkarl’s reply above is a great one! 

But if you’re still having trouble be sure to check the following:

• Account you’re signed into
  •  Figma files live under whichever account created them. If you have more than one account (school vs. personal email), double check you're logged into the right one at figma.com/files.
• Education status changes
  • If your class used a Figma Education team, files can become view-only or harder to find if their education verification lapsed.
• Ask your instructor
  • If the project lived in a class team/workspace you own, check the team's file list or ask the owner to re-share it with you directly.
