Question

Multi-edit in nested frames

Multi-edit seems to work on elements that are inside first-level frames but not on nested ones. I normally have many frames inside frames and the case of having to edit things inside first-level frames is not that common. Am I missing something? 🤔

Hey @Juan_Mir, thank you for reaching out!

I am unsure if this is an expected behaviour. Let me check in with the team and get back to you once I receive more information on this.

Appreciate your patience in the meantime!

@Juan_Mir I’ve an update: Multi-edit works on things in nested frames, but they have to be inside different top level frames.

In other words, if you have a deeply nested object inside of a frame representing a screen of a phone app, and you have lots of copies of that screen, you can multi-select those nested objects.

However, if those screens are all inside of a giant frame, then you won’t be able to multi-select them.

Please let me know if this clears your question, happy to help further!
