Move comments to different page

I too would like to be able to move pages with comments to another file. My use case is pretty basic. Ideations occur within a file and eventually I realize I want to split them up in some new way that wasn’t obvious before. It turns out I was all over the place at first, but can organize one file for this part of the UI and one for the other, set it aside and use this new organization to focus and pickup where I left off next time. But I don’t want to lose all the comments from earlier ideations just bc I’m reorganizing. This is ONE use case. Figma needs to make this flexible to support any unforeseen use cases. Keep comments with stuff I cut/paste, copy/paste, or move. Duplicate comments if you have to, to avoid loss of the thoughts in their context. This isn’t an area to be limiting users on just because you didn’t anticipate a use case around how we want to re-organize. This is an area to be very flexible and remove friction.

also moving comments to a different file is very important. this is where the “move to” hack does not work 😕

Another +1 for this.
Some design files with a lot of assets tend to break Figma, so we create archives etc. It would be super useful if comments transferred over to other files.

+1, so annoying, the “move to page” feature is not great cause we do not chose where in the page it will be moved, the CMD + X is much better to paste the design where we want

I really wish it was possible to just move the comments to another file. This is such an oversight.

same wish on our side. we need it as a feature. is there a feature-request somewhere?

Unfortunately, the comments don’t move if you are pasting your frames + comments to a page in a design branch in the main file.  For example, we keep all of our in-progress items in a design branch, and then copy them for review into the main file. While reviewing the designs in the main file, we add comments in real time. However, we can’t then move those comments back into the design branch for the same file. I wish they were tied together somehow.
