Missing AI agent beta button in Figma Design (Education Team)? Help please! 🥺✨

I'm currently using the Figma Education plan. I recently moved my design file into a Team workspace, but I noticed that the AI agent beta button has completely disappeared from my toolbar in Figma Design.

Are there specific limitations for Education teams regarding the AI agent beta, or am I just missing something in the settings?

Hey ​@NAP, thanks for reaching out!

The Figma agent is still in open beta, and right now it's rolling out to Full seats on Professional, Organization, and Enterprise plans. Education plans aren't part of this beta, so the entry point won't show up in your Figma Design toolbar no matter which workspace the file lives in. There's no toggle to flip to unlock it.

A couple of things worth knowing:

  • The Content training toggle you spotted in Settings controls whether we can use your team's content to train AI models. That's a separate setting and isn't connected to Figma agent access.
  • If that changes, we'll share updates on How do I access the AI agent beta in Figma Design?
