Microsoft remote desktop and Figma performance

Hey, My company allows my new contractor to use Microsoft remote desktop in order to use Figma. He tells me that the performance of Figma is very slow through the remote desktop. Is there anyway to fix or improve this? Did anyone else encountered this issue?

We consulted with the team, and unfortunately there isn’t much we can do on our end. Performance will depend on the individual configuration of the Remote Desktop.

Please take a look here at our article Configure your browser for Figma for some general tips on how to optimize the browser to use Figma, but Remote Desktop performance is ultimately something that you’ll likely have to discuss with your IT team.

You can also use other remote desktop connection software for secure remote connection. One of them is networking client PuTTY. It allows to establish SSH connection. To see the process on connection click here.
