Hello,
Do you know if the MacBook Pro, with the Apple M2 Pro processor, can run well on the browser and the desktop version?
Thank you 😃

Hello @Andrei_Cercel , Thanks for getting in touch about Figma app!

Figma desktop app is optimized for Macs with both Intel and Apple Silicon processors. Also, for the browser-based version that’s compatible with all major desktop operating systems like macOS, Windows, Linux, and Chrome OS.

For Mac users, make sure you’re on macOS 11 (Big Sur) or a newer version. Now, the browser part - Figma runs with Chrome 84 and later, Firefox 79 and later, Safari 15.5 and later, plus Microsoft Edge 84 and later.

More details on the desktop app are for you here: Guide to the Figma desktop app, and if you’re curious about Figma on browsers, please check here: What browsers does Figma support?

Now, about the M2 – we’re pretty confident Figma will work with those too. However, if you find any issues or have questions, our community’s got your back! Feel free to drop in anytime!

Thank you,

No problem at all! Happy to assist 😊

Work perfectly fine, even with files with a lot of vector object.
I noticed some slow-down when using a lot of local variables (just during modification and updating time). So no worries.
