I used to have a Figma guest account that I use but after I've updated to new version I’ve lost that account with all my personal super important drafts which no shared links to access. Is there any way I can restore those files back🥹

Hi @Noodee, Thank you for contacting us. We're sorry to hear that you're having this issue.

To help us understand the situation accurately, could you please answer the following questions?

  1. Which of the following best describes your situation?

                 A. I can no longer access the email address associated with my Guest Account, and I am unable to log in.

                 B. I can log in to my Guest Account, but I cannot access the resources.

  1. Regarding the update you mentioned, could you please provide more details about what you updated and the nature of the update?

If the situation aligns with scenario A from question 1, could you provide us with further details? We may be able to assist you in connecting with our support team to help update your account email.

If the situation is scenario B of question 1, I've looked into your account, and it seems you're not currently showing up as a guest in any organizations. Do you have another account you might be using?

We've also seen something similar reported to our support team. If you're already chatting with them about this, please stick with them so we can keep everything organized and ensure your account stays secure.

If you're unable to locate the file and URL, it might be helpful to contact the administrator of the organization you were a guest in, or the person who shared the resources with you.

In addition, you could try the following to find the URL:

  • Check your web browser's history.
  • Search any previous conversations where you might have shared the file with colleagues.
  • If you're using the desktop app, check the 'File > Recently Closed' menu.

Thanks again for reaching out!
