Log-in loop via browser

This randomly just resolved but I lost an entire day of working time because I was stuck in the following loop:

  1. I reset my password so I could use the mobile app
  2. This logged me out of my session on browser, so I had to log back in
  3. Wouldn’t let me use google, so had to use password
  4. Used my new password, entered the authentication code texted via SMS to my phone
  5. Looked like it was logging me in but brought me to the Figma home page with the “login” link at top right
  6. I would then try that log in link, and it would try to use SSO or whatever the acronym is, and it wouldn’t accept my organization’s security key….
  7. Rinse and repeat like 20 times today. Wrote to support, no one answered.

Sorry to hear you're having login issues and waiting on support. I checked our system and it looks like our team did respond to you - might be worth checking your spam folder in case it landed there.

Here's what they sent:

To start, can you let me know if you are logging in to use Figma in your browser or the desktop application? Additionally, can you share a screenshot of what you're seeing in Figma during this login process? 
 
As a starting troubleshooting measure can you try the following: 

  • Clear your browser cache (and desktop application cache if using)
  • Try logging into Figma using a different browser (such as Firefox if you're using Chrome)
    • Use an incognito or private browsing window

If you can find their email, feel free to reply directly to them. If not, just let us know and we can help get things back on track.
