Im not sure if im doing anything wrong? But when in design mode, it has happened often that the layout grid in the side panel disappears and suddenly appears again. How do I get it back, and am i doing something that makes it disappear?

Thanks for reaching out! Probably, you may have hit Shift + G to show/hide layout grids. Can you try this in design mode please?
