Hi, I’m a user of the professional plan and got the ownership of several design files. The origin owner was a designer of another company. I can see these files on my start page in the “shared” section now, but I’m not able to edit them with my current license. It’s also not possible to move the files into a project (action is disabled). I just realized, despite I’m the new owner of the files, the company of the former owner is still somehow connected to the files.


How can I transfer the design files completely to my company, move them into new projects and be able to edit them? Are existing links to the design files and sections still valid, if the above-mentioned changes have been made?

It’s not possible to change ownership between different Pro plans, unless you have edit access for both teams and/or projects.
