Is there a way to link one branch to another branch or a file?

I’m currently working and collaborating with a large team on the following:

• Design File (Each designer has their own branch)
• Design System File (Each designer has their own branch)

Now, I’d like to link my Design System branch to my Design File branch to preview the impact of my changes without affecting the rest of the team's work. Is this possible?
