I was wondering if it would be possible to add options to the Figma context menu when selecting an item, or if it’s possible to add options to the sidebars, for instance the Prototype navbar.

In my view and experience, due to the nature of how plugins work it probably wouldn’t happen anytime soon. But it’s getting closer with the recent release of textreview type plugins that can do something similar.
