Well. I sat through the Locofy sales pitch first video chat.

i must say that I found their efforts amazing. They were super helpful and very attentive. Communication after was terrific!

the demo is stellar and really explains the product. It seems to do a great job! Lots of really nice stuff in there.

as expected though, your Figma needs to be impeccable. Naming, positioning, and full-on proper auto layout and the works. Nothing that I have ever seen a designer have the time to do.

it can’t create full flows of export. Especially with links across pages. They seemed surprised that I wanted that. Do other people not build large clickable demos?

locofy seems great if you want to create a coded export of a small design element. Like a card or carousel. Maybe a full page(frame). But I don’t see it handling liks and navigation well.

the big dealbreaker is the cost. It is one of those “credits-driven” things. So you buy a bunch of credits and are charged credits for every little thing you export. Collectively! So exporting a full page would cost a ton. Definitely not an affordable solution.

Good product. But they have monetized it to the point of putting users in a bad position...like Figma making modes inaccessible for anyone but the wealthy.

again. Good product. Great service.
