I’ve been on the Free plan and last I shared a prototype, I could do it without upgrading anything. This month, I decided to start with a Collab seat and when I tried the Share now, a window prompted to upgrade to a Full Seat.

Is a Full Seat required now in order to share a prototype?

Hey @dannyfoo, thanks for reaching out! To clarify, if you’re working in a Figma Design file, a Full seat is required in order to edit or share prototypes. Collab seats only provide editing access for FigJam and Slides files, but not Design files.

You can find more details about how seats work here: Manage seats in Figma.

Let me know if you have any further question, happy to help out!
