I want to be billed for only 1 seat but the invoice shows more seats. I have  already removed other users but is still being billed for multiple seats. I am seeking clarification and resolution to only pay for 1 seat. I want to update my existing invoice to just 1 seat not 2.

Hey @Vishnulalcr, thanks for reaching out in the Figma Forum! I can see in the backend that our support team has replied to your case and resolved your billing issue. They’ve adjusted your open invoice to remove one Full seat as a one-time exception.

For others who may encounter something similar: in this case, an additional seat had been approved by an admin.

Just for clarification here— once seats are approved, they’re added to the current billing cycle and can’t be removed retroactively. However, you can prevent renewal of an additional seat by changing it to View in Admin > People tab, up until one day before your renewal date. You can learn more in our Help Center article: Manage seats in Figma.

To help avoid unexpected seat charges in the future:

  • Make sure there’s an available seat before approving new ones (or downgrade a paid user to View to free one up).

  • Review your current seat count and open seats in Admin dashboard, under the “Billing” section.

  • Use the People tab to identify users who may not need a paid seat.

For more information you can check out Help Center article for more details on managing seats, and the recent updates to Figma's pricing, seats, and billing experience.

If you have any further questions, feel free to continue the conversation directly in your support case. I’ll go ahead and close this topic here. Thanks!
