 Im having a problem with comonents when the size is set by a variable and the aspect ratio is locked.https://www.figma.com/design/JZunLI0B65xrRYRCmKWt4I/Component-Size-var-Bug?node-id=0-1&t=0OWhhCZcN6yK8qEP-1 1: You can see in this doc the component is designed in 100x100.2: With aspect ratio locked and entering the size manualy to 120 things work as expected.3: When the size is applyed as a var the size is incorrect 109,54x109,544 Without the aspect ratio lock the hight is correct when the var is applyed5: The basic frame not made into a component works with the var as expected. Has anyone else noticed this behaviour and have you found a sollution? Thanks  

I have the following component that consists of a Text, 2 nested toggle instances and 3 nested input instances. When you click between the toggles, the input lable text changes/variation change. This works if I only have one instance of this componet, but when I hav multiplle instances of this component in the same frame, the first nested input field dosen’t change its label text in prototype mode. However, it works if I manually change the variant through the Design panel.Here is how it looks in prototype mode: Everything looks good Oh no, the first nested input instance in the first instance don’t change as it do in the second instance.used the add button (+ Tilføj ejer) to add a third instance. The seocond and thid instanc elooks fine.Trying to toggle the second instance, but oh no, now the first nested input instance in the second instance don’t change either. It only works as intended in the third instacne.What is going on? Whelp!?

 I’m working on handing off animations to a developer and I’m trying to understand the exact behavior of the "Slow" curve preset in Figma (under the interactions).I know Figma offers easing presets like "gentle", "quick", and "Custom", but I couldn’t find any documentation or cubic-bezier values for what the "Slow" curve actually represents.Can anyone clarify: What kind of motion the "Slow" easing represents? Is there a corresponding cubic-bezier value I can give to developers? Thanks in advance!

Hi, I’ve got two variants of a component and i decided that one of them should be withdrawn from use. Is there any option to delete variant and replace all instances of the component with remaining variant? 

Hi! I just bought 2 dev seats for my organization; however, I don't have full access since I'm using only the free organization plan with the 2 developer seats. I'm working on my project, but the developers can't access it or upload the projects to the teams. Is there any other way I can do this? I tried with my personal free account and invited the developers, but that also didn't work. Is there a workaround for this? Perhaps making one of the developers have a full seat and Dev Mode at the same time?

I have accidentally created a file in a client’s paid organisation where I have guest access. I have added a lot of important comments in the file. How can I now move the file from the client organisation’s paid plan to my personal free plan and keep the comments?If I download the file it loses the comments, and the same if I try to copy/paste the frames to a new file.What can I do?

While setting up my components for my component library, I came across an issue. A lot of my components contain instances of other components. To make sure our designers only use the correct components, we use the “_” before the names of nested components when publishing. But this causes the issue where properties of the nested components is hidden in the properties panel of the main component.For example:I have a “Dialog” component consisting of a header, a body text and an instance of a “dialog buttons” component. This “dialog buttons” component has multiple variants based on how many buttons should be visible and if they should be stacked or side-by-side. If I hide that nested “dialog buttons” component from publishing, it is not visible in the properties panel of the “Dialog” component when used outside the library. (And yes, I have checked everything from the “Expose nested instances” list)So, is there a way to hide the “dialog buttons” component from the asset search, but have it

  I’ve created this toggle and am having an issue with auto layout. With auto layout, the container size scales accordingly when the text is updated. However, I can’t overlap the containers. Auto layout insists on separating them. But I need them together because, when the “Shopping Bag” container changes size, I want the “Favorites” container to also change to maintain consistent padding. Is there a workaround for this? 

Hi all, I’m currently trying to connect a webhook to our team’s MS teams channel via Microsoft power automate.  We have gotten the webhook to post LIBRARY_PUBLISH updates but as a results, we don’t get the entire list of Figma components that have been created/modified/deleted, etc. has anyone successfully gotten the webhook to post component names, excluding property names and values? Currently it requires 2 API calls to fetch the key and then the name itself. Thanks all! here’s an example of what’s posted:   

When I try to stretch the frame, other components are also stretched, as you can see in my screen shots. I only want to edit the frame. How can I do it?

Trying to override images so that the image zooms in on hover, but all it does is show the original image from the hover variant. Any ideas? Tks!!

Hello,I use several profiles on Figma, one dedicated to a work team, the other personal to work on files and make feedback.When the figma file has been opened with one of the two profiles, I can't find any way to swap profiles to leave comments or make changes with the right one.The only solution seems to be to disconnect the account you don't want to use? Which means reconnecting several times a day.Thanks in advance

A designer makes designs with styles.I have edit rights at the file.I copy an element with (text) styles within.But I do not get the styles.I would like to get the whole design including the styles.Is the solution that my designer has the professional version.Or do I need to have the professional version as well?After the design is finished, is it possible and easy to return to the free version?For both of us, it is not our job, so we do not need the paid version for more projects.

I lost my Figma file, how to get it back, I have the link of that file but it is showing the source is deleted

I submitted my plugin (Figma to React | Figma) for review on Apr 6, 2025. On the window that popped up, it said it should be reviewed within 5-10 business days. However I did not receive an email nor get it approved, and it’s been 16 days. Would like to know how long I should expect to wait. Thanks!
