Sometimes, the icon colors in my components reset, and I can’t figure out why. I’m working in my design system, and all my icons are flattened, so the structure and layer names are the same. Most of the time, my overrides work fine, but occasionally, a random icon doesn’t work. Has anyone else experienced something similar? Could this be a bug?

Overriding the fill or stroke of layers, including the fill type, value, and opacity are supported properties. Are you experiencing that these overrides aren’t always being preserved?
If that’s what’s happening, it seems like the tool may not be functioning correctly, I suggest contacting our support team to investigate further using this form.: https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
When you contact our support team, please provide the following:
- Use your Figma account’s email address.
- add support-share@figma.com as an Editor to the working file and related library file (this won’t affect your billing at all), and send through a link to an instance
- If the linked frame is quite complex please send a video or a screenshot to be able to identify which instances to check.
