I use Figma every day but I STILL don’t understand the correct/preferred way to do this. Say I have a component with 1 variant and 1 property (say “State=Open/Closed”). What I want is to create a new variant property that applies to BOTH of the existing variants (say “Size=Default/Small”) and automatically duplicates the components (to the RIGHT) and applies the new property. Is there a way to do this OTHER than resizing the set, manually creating the property, duplicating the components, and apply and setting the new property? Maybe as a plugin? I need to do this ALL the time.

I’m aware that you can create all your variants FIRST and then do “Combine as variants” but that’s not what I need, because I don’t always know in advance all the variants I need.
