I have an editor access but is on "View Only" mode when I opened the file

I have just been added as editor of a Figma design file but when I went to the actual file, it says on top “View Only” The owner of the file sent me a screenshot that I have a restricted account. I already have an upgraded account. How do we resolve this? Thanks!

Hi @Karl_Adrian_Aguro ,

That error indicates that you were downgraded to Viewer-restricted by an organization admin. In order to be able to edit files within Figma, you have to ask your Organization admin to update your permissions (by moving Viewer-Restricted role to an Editor role).
