I can't figure out how to do absolute position. Help!

No matter what I do, I just can’t seem to get Absolute Positioning to show up on one particular frame. It just doesn’t show up, even though the layers in the frames themselves can use absolute positioning. I just don’t get it and it’s starting to frustrate me. Here’s the link to it. I just want to make the buttons stay in place while they’re transitioning why is this so HARD

I couldn’t upload it as a video so I turned it into a gif. The problem is that the button is moving along with the transition. I want it to stay in place.

Are you using smart animate on the buttons?
Absolute position is just about one frame, it’ll stay fixed into that one frame. Smart animate makes them animate onto each other if they’re matching. There’s an example on here similar to your problem
