I can click trough my component. The button under is clicked

So  I have multiple layers. The upper layer is a component of a navigation bar.
The navigation bar exists of multiple buttons and a rectangle behind everything. I linked the buttons when the components were placed on the pages.
The button that links to the page you’re currently on has no interaction as you can’t link something to the page it is currently on.
When I click on that button, I click trough the entire navigation bar, and hit buttons that are under it, which directs me to a page, while I want no interaction at all (because I should stay in the same page).

how do I fix this, without changing any button location?
