I’ve been trying to use Agent for UI design, but the results consistently fall short of my expectations.
Here are the main issues I'm running into:
- Handling Assets: Agent really struggles with vector graphics. It can't handle logo creation, icon design, or illustrations properly.
- Image Processing: Image assets often end up distorted, and the overall quality of any generated images is just not up to par.
- Lack of Originality: To guide the design, I feed Agent our brand assets and a design.md file. Despite this, the UIs it generates are incredibly templated and visually mediocre.
The output is nowhere near ready to be handed off to developers as a final deliverable—I always find myself having to redesign the entire thing anyway.
How are you all solving these limitations? Do you have any workflows, workarounds, or strategies to get high-quality, production-ready designs out of Agent?
