Hi on the old UI I used to be able to select a layer that wasn’t the frontmost one and press enter to edit it, then I could hold shift and click multiple parts of the shape to edit, now I can’t seem to do that, holding shift makes it select completely different layers if they overlap. Is there a way to do things the way I was able to before the new UI?

Tried to demonstrate the current behavior I’m seeing

Try holding shift and dragging over the node instead of clicking. Otherwise a work around could be to temporarily lock the other shape.

Double-click the vector or press Enter to enter vector edit mode to select multiple points on a single vector layer without affecting other layers. Then, use Shift+Click to select individual points or click-drag to marquee-select various points. This keeps the selection limited to the current path. To avoid choosing other layers, ensure you’re in vector edit mode or lock other layers in the layers panel before editing.
