I am using a UI kit that has variables set up Primitive, Semantic and Component Specific Variables.

There are 2,000 of them and I need to find e.g. a specific primitive ‘Emerald/200’ or a semantic ‘Primary/200’ but the only way I see is to scroll though the list on the left in the variable panel and it seems really convoluted.

Also, I wish I could click on a variable alias in the the variable panel and it then take me to the original so I can then find variables that way by clicking from component variable to semantic variable to primitive variable.

I totally get your frustration with the variable modal. Those sound like awesome feature ideas!
