How do you window select internal vector points?

Playing with vectors, and I can’t window select the internal points. How do I do that? alt click doesn’t seems to grab & copy. I tried to select all of them and then remove the outer ones, but that doesn’t seem to work either.

Is there a setting somewhere I have to check?
