Question

How do I make the text appear in front of the image?

When I create this auto-layout, the image comes in front of the text. If I push it to the back, it also moves to the left of the text. Surely I’m missing something simple in how to get the text on the left, the image on the right, and the text in front (and overlapping)?

The video link doesn’t work.

Thank you. I thought it was set to be viewable by anyone with the link, but I’ve just made it public and could view it in an incognito window, so would you be willing to try again?

Hey, thanks for the video. You’re using Figma all wrong.

Add a frame on the right, then add a background image to it. Rather than just inserting an image. Use frames.

Also, click on the filter icon on the right and make sure it’s ‘first on top’.

Thank you. I wasn’t aware of the first on top filter. That is very helpful!
