How do i disable variable font axes option in font style dropdown

Hello everyone this is my first question here. i couldnt find any solution for my problem so asking here. So my issue is for some fonts when i click on font style dropdown Figma shows Variable font Axes option for some styles but doesnt show for other styles. For example i am using " Open sans " font and for " Regular" Style it doesnt show Variable font Axes

but for other font styles such as " semibold " it is showing Variable font Axes property at the bottom of dropdown

My problem arise when i am trying to select any style. i Cannot as the dropdown keeps changing and i cannnot really select the style i want. How do i disable this property . Thanks

Hi there,

Thank you for reaching out. Regrettably, the option to disable variable font axes is not available if the font is a variable font. This is dependent on the font.

If you’re unable to select the font weight that you want, could you please share a screen recording or submit a bug report following these steps?
