Hover using Overlay

I cannot get my hover effect to work, I got it working outside a figma page, when I moved the two images on the page nothing!!!

I need to finish this project for my portfolio so I can move onto my last project so I can get a job!!
 

I used chat exhaustively and could not get this to work!!

 How can I have a live person help me>?

    I completely understand how this must be slowing down your workflow, especially with a portfolio deadline on the line. One common reason hover overlays stop working after moving elements to a new page is that prototype connections don't transfer when you cut/paste between pages. They will need to be reconnected manually.


    A few quick questions to help narrow this down:

    1. After moving your frames, did you re-link the prototype connection from your trigger element to the overlay frame in the Prototype tab?
    2. Is your trigger set to "While hovering" → "Open Overlay", or something different?
    3. Are you previewing in Presentation mode (â–¶ play button)? Hover interactions won't work on the canvas itself.


    If you haven't already, try re-dragging the blue connection wire from your trigger element to your overlay frame and reconfiguring the interaction. That will usually do the trick after a move. If these don’t help, sharing a screenshot of your prototype setup may give us here in the Community better insight into what’s happening.
