Hotspot hint toggle does not work

When I open a design file in the app and preview the prototype, I would like to switch off the hotspot hints. This option is indeed an option in the hidden menu. However, when I click on the option, the menu closes, but the hotspots are still displayed. Some one with the same problem / has a workaround for it?
