Hand/move cursor won't go away

for me, it gets stuck in “select” and only if i quit Figma and reopen it fixes it. sometime it happens every 5 minutes, sometimes once a week. Can’t figure out what’s triggering it.

Easiest way I decoded is that go out of your design section, land on empty space, right click and click on “cursor chat”, hand icon will go away and normal cursor will appear.

You’re in Dev Mode if you can see only Hand cursor as you can’t select or move items around in Dev mode.
To get out of Dev Mode: Menu > View > Open in Design mode
Or Shift D to toggle between Dev and Design modes.
When in Design mode, you can use Hand (H) or Move (V)
