Grey Screen on all Designs

Hi everyone,

So I have an assignment due till 12pm. However, when I try and access my designs on figma, I just get a grey screen.

I tried clearing all browser data on safari (that didn‘t work), I then tried if I would see anything on the App (that didn‘t work), I then deleted the app, restarted the ipad and re-downloaded the figma app - no success. I then installed Firefox - that didn‘t work. I then tried it via chrome (also tried clearing the cache there - neither worked). Nothing worked. None of my own designs nor those shared with me work.

 

I ran out of option 2 attempts ago.

 

Slowly losing hope.

 

Can anyone help? Please?

I understand you’re seeing a gray screen when trying to access your Figma design files on your iPad.

 

You mentioned that you’ve already tried accessing Figma using supported browsers (Safari, Firefox, and Chrome) as well as the Figma for iOS app, cleared your browser cache, and even reinstalled the app — but the issue still persists.

  • Suggesting that you upgrade to iOS 26

  • Requesting additional information to investigate further

I have the exact same issue, iPad is updated to the latest version. This is the same both when accessing via desktop in chrome and Safari, as well as the Figman app itself.

Updating my iPad to iOS 26 helped. But the option to update to 26 was a bit hidden in the Softwareupdate Menu.

 

If your Phone is on iOS26 and it works on there that’s a good indication that your iPad needs to update (at least that gave me the clue).
