Google Fonts - Not all fonts are available in the UI Selection, so you have to download and install them

Figma is pretty good with Google Fonts, but it always seems to be “behind” in the available fonts that you can pick in the UI. I tried to pick the font

Wittgenstein - Google Fonts

And it’s not visible as a font in the UI Font Pickers. Now I have to manually download and install the font, whereas normally you can just pick a Google Font and use it without installation (which saves a lot of space and memory on your computer).

Hey @john-mainboard, thanks for reaching out and sorry for the delayed reply!

This is currently expected behavior, because the fonts list isn’t updated immediately as new fonts are being added to Google Fonts. The Google Web Font library that Figma provide natively updates about every three months.
