I am stuck with UI in dark mode and Figma background in light mode making the sections all dark but background ssuper light. It is jarring to say the least.

Hey ​@Milana! Yes like ​@Nellya mentioned you can change the background color of the canvas. However, while in dark mode, your canvas should be defaulting to an off-black color #1E1E1E. Are you seeing this for all your files? 

This fixed the issue, apologies I missed it on the right side.
