Figma Slides: publish template error

@ValentinaG @Jeffrey_Potter – are you both still having trouble with getting your slides published? If so, can you reply with the name of your deck file? We’ll look into this further.

Looks like the slides with “Master component” inside, can’t be published. @figma Can we fix that?

Hey everyone, apologies for the delay in updating you!

The team has confirmed that, at the moment, we don’t support publishing a slides template that contains a component. As a workaround, we recommend creating an instance from the component and using that in your slides file.

We know this isn’t ideal, and the team is actively working on a solution. It’s a tricky issue, so while we hope to roll it out soon, we don’t have a specific timeline yet. I’ll keep you updated as we make progress!

I published a Template for my team and then went in to make some changes now I am getting this notification ‘Figma slide templates cannot include components please move them off the slide before publishing’ what has changed?
