Is anybody else getting the following error when they try and use the design mode in Figma Slides:

-Figma slides design mode requires a Figma design plan

I am logged in on an account that has a design plan seat.

and I can‘t understand what dose  “full seat” mean in your help center. I need to create lots of design file or I should pay for it?

-Design mode requires a full seat for Figma Design

Hi @sachiko san,

Thanks fore reaching out, and I apologize for the confusion caused by the popup message.

To clarify, using design mode in Figma Slides requires a paid plan, also referred to as a "full seat" in Figma Design. Unfortunately, design mode is not available with the free plan, even if you have editing access. However, you can still leverage the functionalities of Figma Slides on the free plan.

Here's a quick comparison of Slides mode and Design mode:

  • Slides mode (available on free plan): Offers a simplified interface for creating and editing slide decks, including using templates, modifying content, and adding interactive elements.

  • Design mode (available on paid plans): Provides access to advanced Figma Design features like auto layout, the layers panel, and in-depth property editing, allowing for more granular control and customization of your slides.
