Figma Slide is darkening videos?

Hello everybody,

Using figma slide for presentation since couple of months, I just realise that figma slide is darkening the videos (of like 1 stop). Is there any way to fix / prevent this behaviour?

Hi @JTM and @Anna Goss 👋 Thanks for flagging this!

A one-stop darkening on video specifically could be a color-management mismatch.

To dig in, a few things would help:

A screen recording showing the darkening as it happens
The source video file (if possible)
What exported the video?
Is it HDR or wide-gamut (Rec.2020 / Display P3)?
Does it darken in edit mode, present mode, or both?

I just attached a screen recording showing the behaviour (it’s in edit mode but i have the same behavior in present mode)

Source video file is a classic mp4 H264 rec709 2.4 (1.1.1 tagged) video. So it’s not HDR neither wide gamut.
