Figma Make Credit for One Month

I have a quick question regarding Figma Make credits.

I'd like to purchase additional credits, but only for one month, not for an annual subscription. The confirmation screen isn't very clear, so I'm not sure whether I'll be charged for just one month or for the entire year.

I only need 1,000 additional credits for this month. Could you please confirm whether this purchase is billed monthly or annually?

I can see that you’re on the Professional plan. On that plan the AI credits subscription is billed monthly, not annually, even though your underlying Figma plan is on annual billing. It's a month to month subscription that renews automatically until you change or cancel it.

A couple of things worth knowing before you purchase:

  1. If you buy the subscription partway through your current billing period, you're only charged a prorated amount for the rest of that month, not a full month's cost.
  2. Because it auto-renews, if you only want the extra 1,000 credits for this one month, you'll need to go back in and downgrade or cancel the subscription afterward. That change takes effect on your next monthly billing date, so it's worth setting a reminder.
  3. If you need an one-off boost, pay-as-you-go billing might actually suit you better than the subscription. With PAYG, you only pay for what you use (up to a spending limit you set yourself), so there's no ongoing commitment to manage or cancel later.
