Figma Make and custom fonts

From what I've seen, it depends on how those fonts are made available in your Figma workspace.

If your organization has custom fonts installed through Figma's supported font services or the Figma Font Helper (for desktop fonts), they're generally available in Figma Design. However, Figma Make may not automatically use every custom font when generating content with AI, especially if the model doesn't have direct access to your organization's font library during generation.

A practical approach is to let Figma Make generate the initial layout or prototype first, then replace the text styles with your organization's approved fonts afterward. That way you still get the speed benefits of AI while keeping the final design consistent with your brand guidelines.
