Erum Shaheen

Hello everyone,

My name is Erum Shaheen, and I am working as a Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering at the National University of Modern Languages (NUML), Main Campus.

I recently applied for the Figma Education plan and uploaded all the required verification documents. Initially, when I tried to verify my account, the system showed the message: “We’re having trouble, please verify later.”

After waiting a few days, I attempted the verification again, but now I am receiving the message: “Verification Limit Exceeded – It looks like you've already redeemed or attempted to redeem this offer.”

Because of this message, I am unsure whether my verification request was actually submitted or not, and my account is still not verified.

I would really appreciate it if someone from the support team could check my account status or guide me on how to resolve this issue.

Thank you for your help.

Kind regards,
Erum Shaheen

Hi @Erum Shaheen, Celyn from Figma Community Support here.

Thanks for reaching out and for sharing the details.

I understand you’ve received a “Verification Limit Exceeded” message and are looking for clarity on your verification status — I’m happy to help point you in the right direction to get this sorted.

Education verifications are handled directly by our verification partner, SheerID, as they manage the review process and have access to the necessary verification tools.

If you’re seeing a “Verification Limit Exceeded” message, the best next step is to contact SheerID’s dedicated Figma support team at:
figmasupport@sheerid.com

As a gentle reminder, please ensure you’re completing the verification using your school-issued email address (rather than your personal email), as this can impact the verification process.

If you don’t hear back within a reasonable timeframe, feel free to reply here — I’ll be glad to help follow up.
