External website link in the Android figma app doesn't open

The link to an external website from Prototyping to “Open Link” doesn’t open on the Android Figma app. (On iOS apps, it opens with a browser.) The same goes for links that you set directly to text. It’s stuck on the white screen, is there a fix?

Hi there,

Thanks for flagging. Since we don’t see the ongoing issue about it, would you be able to force-quit the app and restart? Then can you see how it goes?

Figma App version 24.6.1
Android OS version 14

Restarting the app or rebooting the device causes the same problem, and I think the system web view is up to date.
