Exports adding a thin white line top and bottom

I had the same problem, here’s how i resolved it:

Create a new frame with the desired size (exactly what you need, not +/- px). Then, you can copy-paste the graphics from the frame that has the export error to the newly created frame, just don’t copy-paste the whole frame. I noticed if you copy-paste / duplicate the frames is when the exported error happens, be it with one line top, bottom, two lines on the sides, etc. Double check in the preview area, and export.

I started having this problem when i was duplicating frames in order to change titles, and nothing else helped me.

Hey ​@dvaliao, can you please unmark this is as “Solved”? While forcing exact integers is a workaround, the issue is still not solved. Figma should round down, when sub-pixel levels are detected, not round up, which results in the white lines, that is the solve here. We shouldn’t have to check every single X, Y and W/H coordinate every single time we export to ensure frames are exactly on integer pixel levels. 

​@dvaliao You’re aware of the issue and you still haven’t solved it? Instead, you just throw in a ‘solution’ that only worked for like one person and proceeded to close the thread? Do you know how annoying this bug is and how many people it probably affects, and you’re sweeping it under the rug??

Helllllo—still having this issue. I work for a large client on social media and we cannot use Figma for our social posts anymore. Super disheartening to see what seems like a simple issue not being resolved (and quite frankly ignored). 

Especially with allot of users using Dark Mode right now the lines are even more visible than ever. We’ve had Paid Ads running with white lines 😭

Temporary solution: There are Figma Plugin that fixes this Figma bug, they’re called Clean Document and PIxel Perfect. They fix your artboards’ X and Y’s to full numbers. This solved it for our clients. 

And for what reason would a user want to place an artboard on X 0.5 and Y 0.5 anyway? Can we fix this in an update asap to full numbers? X1 Y1, X2 Y2 etc.

​@dvaliao this issue is plaguing us on a daily basis and impacting business work. An acknowledgement that that is still a known bug, and removing the “Solved” status on this thread would go a long ways in helping us feel like the community is being heard and valued. 

The amount of work I’ve been able to do in Figma has reduced significantly. One solve is to download (and unfortunately pay for) the SCRL app. All the workarounds above still do not work. 

Hi there! I think I’ve found a simple solution to this issue. I used the crop tool to extend the image box by one pixel in all directions, and that seemed to resolve the problem.

At first, I only extended the side where the line was appearing, but that didn’t help. Then I tried extending the opposite side, and that did the trick. My theory is that the opposite edge is wrapping around by one pixel, which causes the line to appear.
