Exporting Styles and Variable from Figma plugin to Figma

Hello,

I am currently developing a Figma plugin to extract local variables and local styles . However, I am facing difficulty in exporting local variables and local styles from Figma plugin to Figma styles and Variables.
Could you please advise if there is a method /API to export local variables and local styles to Figma from plugin?
