Hi everyone,
I’m working on some layouts in Figma and running into an issue once they’re printed. On screen, everything looks properly aligned, but after exporting (PDF) and printing, spacing and alignment don’t always match what I see in Figma.
I’ve checked frame sizes, constraints, and export settings, and things look fine before printing. The printer itself accepts jobs without errors, which makes it harder to tell where the mismatch is happening.
Before assuming it’s an export or scaling issue, I tried ruling out problems with the printer itself by printing a basic test page directly from the browser. That output looked normal, so I’m leaning toward this being a layout, scaling, or export setting issue.
For those who regularly print designs from Figma, are there any best practices for avoiding alignment or scaling problems when printing?
Thanks in advance.
