Hello. I have recieved notification on email that my student plan expires in 4 weeks, though it has been only 1 year since i’ve registered in figma and i also verified my edu plan this year. I have read that student plan is valid for 2 years, so why mine expires so soon?

I took a look at your Figma account using the email address associated with your forum account, and it looks like your education status was for GoIT Global courses, which is only valid for 6 months. If you're still attending courses, you can reapply to maintain your education status.
Here's what you'll need to do before your education verification expires on August 1st:
- Visit https://www.figma.com/education/apply
- Select "Student" as your role
- Choose "Bootcamp or online course" as your institution type
- Search for your school or select "School not listed" if Product School isn't in the dropdown
- Upload your current course schedule, confirmation, or syllabus
- Enter your expected graduation date
- Submit your application
Once approved, you'll continue to have access to your Education plan features, which includes the Professional plan features for free. If you have any further issues with your education verification, you can also reach out to the team directly at Education@figma.com.

Per our Education guidelines, users can only be a verified education user under a Bootcamp or online course for an initial period of six months, with the option for one additional six-month extension. Due to regulatory laws and Figma's policies, we are unable to offer a second extension for Bootcamp or online course users for the same account.
Since you received this verification failure, you’ve likely already used your initial six months and extension. Please note that you will not be able to reapply for an education application under the same email address/account, per the Bootcamp/online course policy.
As an alternative solution, you can create a new Figma account with a different email address and are welcome to apply for education verification with your new account.
