Hello. I am currently a user of the Edu subscription, which ends in 2025. Please help me understand the following question — what will happen to my projects when the subscription ends? Now I have a created team, which contains my educational projects with a large number of files and pages. I’m worried that when the subscription ends, all my projects may be removed from this team or something irreversible will happen to them. Please tell me what should I expect and what should I know about my subscription ending? And do I understand correctly that the same will apply to any subscriptions (when its ending): Pro, Org or Enterprise?

If you have graduated, you have the option to downgrade your education team to our free Starter plan or upgrade to a Professional team.


For upgrading to a paid plan, you can refer to this article: Upgrade to a paid plan


If you decide to downgrade to a Starter team, you will have limitations on the number of Editors and Projects, Team Libraries, and access to unlimited Version History.

You can find more details in Figma plans and features and Starter plan permissions.


Additionally, I’ve checked, but we don’t have any articles related to canceling an Org or Enterprise plan. For further information on this, we can either wait for input from our experienced community members or you can reach out to our sales team if you require those plan.
