Hello, I’ve been a college professor for a long time and have been using Figma’s educational plan for my classes for a long time as well without any issues. Out of the blue today I got an email stating that my educational plan will expire in 4 weeks.

I clicked on the get verified button once again on the figma website and got this.

I went back into my files and looks like nothing has changed. Should I get a confirmation email stating everything is ok or do I need to do anything else?  Right now I have four teams under the educational plan and I plan on adding a 5th. I doubled checked everything and it all looks good for now.

I’m teaching a figma based summer class in two weeks and I want to make sure everything is good to go or if i’m missing something.  BTW I related this to education@figma.com as well.

I just would like any reassurance that what I have done is good and I don’t need to worry about it or if there is something else I need to do i’m directed in the right direction.

Hi @Andrew_Indelicato, thanks for reaching out!

For the Figma EDU plan, you will need to re-verify your educator status every two years.

Thank you for already reaching out to our Education team directly. They can help ensure you are verified, so please expect a reply from the team directly.
