Hey everyone, thank you for reaching out about your Education plan access. Even after verifying your education status, you'll need to take a few additional steps to ensure you have full access to Figma's features.

Here's what you need to know:

1. Education status verification alone doesn't automatically give you edit access - the Education plan is team-specific, not account-wide
2. After verification, you need to either:
   • Create a new Education team
   • Or upgrade an existing team to the Education plan

To check your current permissions:
- Look at the toolbar in your files
- If you only see "Ask to edit" and limited tools, you currently have view-only access
- If you see the full toolbar with all creation tools, you have edit access

To get full access, please visit figma.com/education/apply to create an Education team or upgrade your existing team to the Education plan. Once completed, you'll have access to the features of the Professional plan for free, including Figma Design, FigJam, Figma Slides, and Dev Mode.
