last few months i used figma edu plan, now that plan has been expired.
now i want to unlock my account and downgrade to free plan
how do i do that?

Hi
When your Education plan expires, it should automatically switch to the free Starter plan.
The Starter plan provides you with 3 Design files and 3 FigJam files within a team, along with the features included in that plan. If you have any files that exceed these limits, you will need to move them into your drafts.
